Action content focuses on getting the client to take action. This could be anything from giving you their email address to booking a session with you to scheduling a technician to arrive at their door.

Just because a piece of content has a call to action in it does not make it an action content piece.

Keys to Great action Content

Action content moves your client from reading to actively moving forward. It should help them make the decision on what to do and how to to do it. The Call To Action should be easy to understand with either a form or a big button that tells them what you need.

Incentivized action content is some of the easiest and most common action content out there. You give them something for free and your client gives you their email address. This is sometimes called free-leader marketing content.

Process explanations are also a part of the action content plan. Define the expectations which can include a when the service will happen, how both parties will work through the process, and how much it will cost. Make it simple and easy to take action.
